Abstract:
This video explores the emotional burden faced by parents and caregivers of children with Cow’s Milk Protein Allergy (CMPA). The constant anxiety over their child’s health and safety impacts family relationships and overall quality of life. Parents often worry about their child eating outside the home and struggle to focus during medical consultations due to stress.
Children with CMPA face their own set of challenges, including frequent hospital visits, fear of needles and tests, growth monitoring, missed school days, and social issues such as bullying. Adolescents, on the other hand, deal with increased responsibilities related to emergency medications and anaphylaxis, alongside similar social concerns.
Once you have watched this video, please remember to complete your self-reflective notes to contribute towards your continuing professional development. You will then be able to access your Certificate of Completion.
