Abstract:

This module provides care home staff with practical guidance on identifying malnutrition and muscle loss in frail residents. Learn how nutrition, muscle health and frailty are closely connected, use simple screening tools to identify residents at risk, and explore the role of nutrition, including protein and oral nutritional supplements, in maintaining muscle health.
