Abstract:
This video introduces the PRONTO Protocol, designed to streamline oncology schedules and improve nutritional risk screening for cancer patients. It is meant to help assess nutritional risk during every oncological evaluation, focusing on three different domains: weight loss, food intake, and muscle mass. The protocol involves three simple questions, taking about three minutes to complete. While intended for oncologists, it can be used by all healthcare professionals to help identify malnutrition risk in cancer patients.
