Dr Ione de Brito-Ashurst is an accomplished Allied Health Professional leader and registered dietitian, currently serving as Head of Therapy & Rehabilitation at the Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust. With nearly 30 years’ experience across clinical nutrition and rehabilitation, she has worked in a wide range of settings including intensive care, acute medicine, renal nutrition, oncology and many other areas.
She is a recognised system leader, operating at senior level across London as AHP Lead, Chair of the Southwest London (SWL) AHP Council and Faculty, and representative within the SWL Integrated Care System. She also contributes to strategic healthcare decision-making as a member of the London Clinical Senate. Known for her ability to think at whole-system level, she leads service transformation that balances high-quality, evidence-based care with the financial realities of the NHS.
