WHAT IS R-MAPP?

The R-MAPP app is an adaptation of the R-MAPP (Remote Malnutrition in the Primary Practice) guidance.1 It is a digital screening tool developed by nutrition experts to support healthcare professionals (HCPs) to identify nutritional risk and muscle loss in adults.

R-MAPP is available on any web enabled device and can be used during either remote or face-to-face consultations.

R-MAPP is quick, simple and easy to use, allowing you to screen and assess for malnutrition and muscle loss, whether remotely, or face-to-face in just 6 simple steps. Screening results can be saved as a PDF, and digitally forwarded to the patient's GP accompanied by a prescription request letter explaining that the patient is at increased risk of malnutrition and/or muscle mass and function loss and requires nutritional intervention to address this.
