Executive summary
Conducting appointments remotely brings challenges in terms of managing patients' nutritional screening and intervention. However, virtual tools such as the R-MAPP App allow healthcare professionals to support patients in addressing their nutritional needs1, ultimately improving patient outcomes, as well as reducing the clinical and financial burden on healthcare systems.2 The R-MAPP App has already been used by more than 3,600 healthcare professionals in the UK and nearly 16,000 globally.
