- According to the medical research article published in February 2019 or before, Abbott Similac® Mom is the only maternal milk formula in Hong Kong with clinical study evidence to support mothers having double chances to sustain exclusive breastfeeding for 6 months (Coordinate with the breastfeeding support plan: includes a 1-off prenatal breastfeeding education, 3 times of postpartum breastfeeding consultation and 2 servings of Similac Mom per day). The research was conducted in mom at 26 to 29 weeks of gestation in which participants received a breastfeeding support program from the last trimester to 12 weeks postpartum. Zhang Z, et al. - Abbott Similac® Mom contains most of the nutrients mentioned in National Institutes of Health (NIH) on the important maternal nutrients during lactation, including protein, DHA (10mg/100ml), folic acid, and 22 vitamins and minerals.
