HMB Evidence in Cancer

In a systematic review of 15 studies, involving 943 adults with cancer, ONS with HMB^ were shown to have a positive effect on:

  • Muscle mass preservation*
  • Muscle function**
  • Hospitalisation
  • Cancer-therapy-related toxicity
  • Tumour response
  • Survival rate
